                                                Lava Cake

We've mostly been eating. N has written on her face - what dedication. She is really happy at CW's promise of "more empty toilet rolls". I am trying to persuade R to learn a dance with me. Next week we have an artist date. There has been discussions of recipes and conversation points.

                                                Burns Day

Preparing for festivities this evening, partially to celebrate Burns night and partically to celebrate Sarah receiving the good news that she tested negatively for both gonorrhea and chlamydia! What a day and it's not even noon! Branflakes for breakfast, tea hand delivered by Perri,  dancing to Like A Prayer to help get the bowels moving and in support of RP.

NEWS JUST IN: Pester passed her driving test this morning. Congratulations you old dog! The Driving Test Pajama Huka Dance was a success!!!! Hallelujah!

                                                17:34
                                                Darkening into a Burns Night

We've been hard at work at Girvan Holiday Camp. N and S have been carefully sewing together scraps to make fringes for a hairy costume, R has been basking in the glow of her driving ability, and I've been working on a poster for a film screening (a bit of a struggle as I wanted to make an image that included volumetric light and domestic space...unsuccessful so far...) Topics of discussion include
S's new DreamPhone project: the banality of boys
Mummers, Morris dancers, hairs, fibres, jangly pieces generally
Building up mass through layers of fringey fibre, and how that would impact movement
                                                Touristey graphics
How my fashion style is like Ruby's style but really geeky and badly put together (or like how your mum used to dress)

                                                CJ is boiling a haggis.

                                                This was me this morning.

                                                Future Plans 2011

                                                1st January 2011

Contemplating becoming a non partisan political party (we have opinions that need to be heard, we just don't know what they are yet or what to do with them when we get them).
Get a place to work, create a nest. A big art nest with a never ending supply of juicy art eggs...
